Working as a croupier in a casino is no easy task. You need a light touch and good concentration. Unfortunately, Ace's touch was a little too light for the more above-board establishments. But in Borgia's Palace his talents have been properly appreciated and while everyone knows the house always wins, when Ace is at the tables it's a done deal!
Advantages & Disadvantages
- Ace's name comes from a symbol used in playing cards.
- Ace's eyes are blue in his level 1 artwork, but are red in his level 2 artwork. This could be based off of the Marvel character Gambit who in X-Men Origins: Wolverine has normal colored eyes but whose eyes turn red when he uses his powers, which is to imbue playing cards with energy. Also, if you look at Ace, he is holding a deck of cards in his hand and shuffling them in his level 2 artwork.
- This card is a tribute to Ace Sheppered, a croupier who prevented many deaths when three robbers came to the casino where he worked. After stealing, tried to kill everyone to leave no witnesses. He took the gun off one of the robbers, and shot two of them. But, the last robbers shot him and he died. The last robber fled with the money...
- He may also be based off of Sam "Ace" Rothstein, the top gambler in charge of the fictional Tangiers casino from the movie Casino.
