Background

"Former commander of the Sweet Home II, Austin C. Moonshine was responsible - among other things - for the repatriation of the Cosmohnuts to Clint City... in his own way. Half-pilot, half-seducer, famous for his unnecessary loops and his orbital flirts, he even sabotaged the remarriage of Charlie, icon of the Pussycats. After years of sailing between the stars and broken hearts, Austin is hanging up his space uniform. He has just left his post to settle in Clint City, determined to trade interstellar controls for a "quiet" life... or almost."

• Interestingly, a number of fans were in awe of Austin's good looks, given how the Cosmohnuts members having hillbilly stereotypes and features, making him the only clan member being attractive.
• His surname is a nod to the semi-legal alcoholic drink Moonshine.
  • His first name could be a reference to the well-known city in Texas; Austin, TX.
• The ship he used to pilot, Sweet Home II could be a nod to the Lynyrd Skynyrd song, Sweet Home Alabama.
