Background
Ever since a furious battle on the high seas in which Ursula saved him from drowning, Barden has been madly in love with her. And to win over her affections, Barden has sacrificed not only his heart, but his humanity and his soul simply to impress his love. Bloodh has fully approved of these actions and some even say he’s positively encouraged it. After all, an immortal, undead pirate is not without his uses!

- If you change the "N" to a "M" you even get the name of the actor, who portraited Captain Salazar, Javier Bardem .
- According to the announcement that Nemo would be temporarily included in the new blood pack, it is revealed that he and Barden are mortal enemies.
