Urban Rivals Wiki

Background[]

There's more to life than just motorbikes. There’s also beer, fighting and women. And in that order. Boyle’s approach to life has never been very complicated and it’s served him well until now so why start messing with it now? The only difference is that since he joined the Berzerk clan fighting has taken precedence over beer...

Missions[]

None at the moment.

Advantages and Disadvantages[]

Advantages:

  • His ability gives him an extra 8+ attack bonus, which helps in low-pill fights. It also allows him to keep up with the Sentinel and Junkz boosts, and fend off the Sakrohm attack reduction.
  • His damage is 8, which is good for a 5*.
  • SOB doesn't hurt him, since he can still rely on his high damage.
  • If you fury with him, his damage becomes 10, allowing you 2HKO with some of the other members of Berzerk.
  • Even without fury, his bonus allows for a good 2HKO setup.
  • If you add his damage with the clan's bonus, it reaches the minimum for their bonus.
  • While somewhat weak against damage manipulators, his damage is high enough that it won't be too troublesome unless facing major damage reducers like Travis Ld. Even still, he can at least fall back on his bonus if need be.
  • As a common card, he's easier to pick up in a pack than most other 5-star cards in the clan.

Disadvantages:

  • His power is 6, which isn't all that good for a 5*.
  • He is weak against power manipulation, which makes facing the All-Stars, Dominion, or night bonus GhosTown difficult.
  • He is also weak against GHEIST and Roots who cancel out their opponents' abilities, as well as the Raptors, who cancel attack modifiers.
  • He is also weak against cards that reduce his damage and stop his bonus.
  • He is a 5* so he takes up a lot of room in your deck and is more affected by Equalizer.
  • He has competition from the other 5* in Berzerk, such as Taylor.

Strategy & Tactics[]

Using

Boyle tends to function best as a beatstick card, primarily focused on attacking in order to deal damage to the opponent.

Leader cards he synchronizes well with include Ambre, who boosts his power to 9, Hugo, who gives additional attack boosts to go along with his ability, and Mr Big Duke, who prevents lowering of his high damage.

Countering

Trivia[]

  • The "Fire Angels" logo on his shirt is a nod to the infamous biker gang, The Hells Angels.
  • His pose in his final art is somewhat similar to Emboar from Pokémon.
  • In the original version of his full level 2 art, he was peeing on a person, not the floor.
