Non-conformist and anti-social, Laurie Home is in permanent conflict with her managers who always end up giving in to her when they see both her impressive analyses and the outcomes of the patients passing through her unit.

- She is based off of Dr. Gregory House, the main character of the medical drama series, House. Her first name, Laurie, is taken from the last name of the actor who played Gregory House, Hugh Laurie.
- Interestingly, there's a take-off of Dr. Gregory House, who is Vinny, also from Rescue.
- This is Tregis's first Rescue card.
- She is one of the few characters that switched clans.
- She is one of the few individuals confirmed to have a personality disorder/mental illness, in her case borderline disorder.
- She is one of the few non-Paradox cards to be a mentally-ill person.
- Her personality as well as her description of being anti-social could be a nod to a common prejudice of some doctors being exceptionally qualified as a professionals but who lack social skills as well as empathy.
