Background
When Clifford started busking in the street with his sax, he thought he'd earn enough to get by on. But when he had to save his brother in arms Beeboy's centre from closure, the lack of funds became impossible. That was when Estalt got involved: promising him money and even glory… Clifford couldn't refuse even in exchange for the most valuable of treasures! Since signing this demonical pact, everything's going just fine for Clifford who now plays to packed houses night after night and can finance his friend's center. He's so into his groove that he's almost forgotten about his debt. Estalt, on the other hand, has not!
Missions
- Pact with a demon: Inflict 60 Damages with Clifford
- Dayum IV: Inflict 80 damage in Survivor mode with Clifford.
Advantages & Disadvantages
Advantages:
- His base power is 7, which is good for a 5*.
- His base damage is 6, which is also good.
- His ability prevents his attack from being lowered, which helps when facing Uppers and Sakrohm.
- His ability and stats make him a very good bluff.
- SoA doesn't really affect him, since he can still rely on his bonus.
- The clan bonus increases his power by two, making him a potential 9/6.
Disadvantages:
- His main weakness are cards, like: Virginia, Rubie, and XU52, who not only cancel out his ability, but also reduce his attack.
- He is also weak against damage reduction.
- He has competition from the other 5* in Bangers.
- He is a 5*, so he takes up a lot of room in your deck.
Trivia
- He is the first UR card to have the ability, Protection: Attack.
- He is based off of Robert Johnson, a blues musician who is said to have sold his soul to Satan for musical talent.
- His name also makes reference to another known Jazz musician, Clifford Brown.
