Background[]
Hammer's brother-in-arms did not follow him into the world of high-level competitions. Instead Duke opened his own school in the hood to teach the kids how to box properly rather than whirling their arms round like crazed windmills. And the fact that the big criminal gangs have not yet made their mark in the neighborhood is largely down to Duke who keeps a very careful watch on things.
Missions[]
- Single Bro: Win 10 rounds with Duke.
- Machine Gun Uppercut: Win 40 fights by knock-out from Duke
- Dayum V: Inflict 110 damage with Duke in Tournament mode.
Advantages & Disadvantages[]
Advantages:
- His base damage is 6, which is good for a 4*.
- His ability increases his attack by the amount of pillz you have, meaning he can receive up to 12 attack if you play him first in a round.
- The clan bonus increases his power by two, making him a potential 8/6.
- Cards which award extra pillz, such as Joy, can allow him to increase pillz count to further boost his attack.
- Due to their Pillz-boosting effects, he works well in half decks with the Riots, Vortex, or Komboka.
Disadvantages:
- His base power is 6, which is low for a 4*.
- His main weakness are all-stops, since he cannot increase his attack and must contend with his base power.
- His ability is Courage-based, meaning you only get two chances to activate it. It also makes him predictable.
- He is a 4*, so he takes up room in your deck.
- He has competition from the other 4* in Bangers.
Trivia[]
- He is based off of Dudley, a British boxer from the popular video games series, Street Fighter.
- His name is based off the boxer term, "put up your dukes", meaning to start a fight.
- The name of his first mission, could be a play off of the words, "single blow."
- The name of his second mission, "Machine Gun Uppercut", is a nod to Dudley's special move, Machinegun Blow.
