Here's what happens when you let baby rabbits watch Kung Fu movies - not only do they become fearsome martial arts experts but they end up unearthing a legendary sword that once belonged to the very first Samurai Rabbit and decide to take to the streets to conquer evil. Whatever!

Advantages & Disadvantages[]

His base stats are 7/7, which is good for a 5*.
His ability is the Montana's bonus, which removes 12 attack from your opponent.
SOA doesn't hurt him, since he can rely on his bonus to get life back.
SOB also doesn't hurt him, since he can rely on his ability.
His ability makes him a very good bluff to use.
The clan bonus gives you two life back if you win with him.
He is a common and is easy to obtain in packs.

Disadvantages:

Like the Montana, the minimum for his ability is 8, which is quite high, meaning that most of the time, in order to beat his opponent, you may have to use one pill or more on him.
He is a 5*, so he takes up room in your deck.
He has competition from the other 5* in Jungo.
Because of his stats and ability, he is often ELO banned.

Trivia[]

His name sounds like the Japanese word for rabbit, "usagi", which fits very well.
He could possibly be a reference to Usagi Yojimbo, a character in a comic book about a samurai rabbit.
The subject of Askai's gender was often debated on among fans until it was officially stated that Askai is male.
According to Silvano Bianchini (the game's Italian translator and game designer), Askai is Easter's ancestor.
His Cr announcement stated that someone had stolen his prized swords during his latest training session in Free Fight. Because of his reputation, he suspected that the guilty party must be new to the city. After hearing rumors of some hooded little men hanging around Bloodh's Rum Distillery, the charismatic rabbit decided to give up on his swords to avoid any potential confrontations, which he had a bad feeling about. As such, he very wisely decided to leave Clint City for a comfortable retirement.
