Background
As the undisputed wrestling champion of his own country, Futoshi Ld had spent a long time scouring the globe for worthy opponents but had been unable to find even one who could withstand his "Oicho Throw". Until the day that is he found himself stood before the Golden Mountain Monastery lost in admiration for one of Yumi's terracotta bowls. Such perfection made him admit defeat before even attempting to challenge the residents within. And the ex-martial arts champion, Yumi, made him realize in just three slaps that he'd be better off working on his fighting techniques than philosophizing over pottery.

Missions
- Kongōrikishi: Inflict 100 Damages with Futoshi Ld (12/04/2013 - 09/06/2012)
Advantages and Disadvantages
Advantages:
- His base power is 8, which is good for a 4*.
- His ability allows him to copy the bonus of an opposing card, which helps when fighting against clans, such as: the All-Stars, the Uppers, and the Sakrohm. His ability also helps to increase his power and damage if he is facing: the Ulu Watu, the Bangers, the Fang Pi Clang, or La Junta.
- His ability helps to play mind games on your opponent, depending on what kind of clan they are using. As such, he makes a very good bluff.
- The clan bonus increases his damage by 2, increasing his damage to 6.
- If you fury with him while his bonus is activated, his damage increases to 8, making him a potential 8/8.
Disadvantages:
- His base damage is 4, which is not good for a 4*.
- His ability doesn't work against GHEIST, Roots and Skeelz.
- He has competition from the other 4* in Fang Pi Clang.
- He is a 4* and hard to fit in T1 half decks.
Trivia
- He is based off of both E.Honda and Gouki, who are both from the Street Fighter series.
- His name is a play on the word futoi, which means 'fat'.
- He also slightly resembles Ganryu, a sumo wrestler from the Tekken series.
- His name is also a nod to European-born sumo wrestler, Kokkai Futoshi.
