Background[]
In living student memory, no one has ever been able to slip past Hemdall during a school curfew. The gatekeeper is everywhere and nowhere, all at the same time, being able to suddenly materialize out of the puff of a cigarette or the fog that envelops the school at nightfall. Rumor has it he is the defender of a secret to which only he and a few professors are privy, and which only his gates of smoke can reveal. Perhaps this secret might uncover the source of Andy Ld's power that a great many people would very much like to acquire for themselves...

Advantages & Disadvantages[]
Advantages:
- His base power is 8, which is good for a 5*.
- His base damage is 6, which is also good.
- His ability gives you three pillz back if you lose with him, creating large gaps between your pillz and your opponent's.
- His ability and stats make him a good bluff against your opponent.
- The clan bonus prevents his ability from being cancelled.
Disadvantages:
- His ability is Defeat, meaning you must take damage for it to activate.
- He is a 5*, so he takes up a lot of room in your deck.
- He has competition from the other 5* in Skeelz.
- He also has competition from Corvus and Plunk, who also have pill-manipulation abilities.
Trivia[]
- He is named after the Thor character, Heimdall, who is the gatekeeper of the Rainbow Bridge.
- He is the first support staff character in over 3 years to be released (Dwan was the last one to have that status).
- Unlike the other support staff members, his class (Mind) is shown in his max level.
- He is the first support staff member who isn't drawn by Tony Semedo.
- His CR announcement goes as: "Hoping to open up the All Stars' league to more extreme sports, Eyrton Cr is on the lookout for talent at the Skeelz Academy. A few students such as Corvus Cr and Sandro Cr approach him, curious about putting their psychic abilities to good use! But suddenly, Hemdall, the gatekeeper, decides to take these three characters through a hazy portal to save them from the bomb that's dropped on the academy's playground…
