- His name comes from the phallus impudicus, also known as the common stinkhorn, a member of the fungus family known for its unique shape and foul odor, which fits with this Impudicus's artwork.
- He is the second Roots member, after Fungus, to be modelled after a fungus plant.
- Interestingly, both cards also feature the Asymmetry ability, although with different effects.
