Background

Ozzy was a world-famous pop star until he unapologetically ploughed into Arawaka while she was out shopping. Furious, the witch cast a nice little spell on Ozzy who quickly realized it was hard to be a pop star with the body of a skeleton and a voice from beyond the grave. Dropped by his sponsors and deserted by his terrified fans, he took refuge in the manor of the Nightmare clan and radically turned round his musical style. And although his audience is no longer the same, at least with the ghastly distortion provided by his Fendoir guitar, he can well and truly wreck the Sabbath nights of the old witch!

Missions

  • The Devil's Rock: Remove 60 Life points from your opponents with Ozzy

Advantages & Disadvantages

Advantages:

  • His base power is 7, which is good for a 5*.
  • His ability removes six life from your opponent, which is a lot.
  • The minimum for his ability is 0, meaning you have a chance to KO your opponent.
  • If you fury with him, his damage becomes three, meaning you can inflict up to nine damage on your opponent.
  • Because of his low damage, he doesn't have to worry about damage reducers.
  • Because of his ability, he is able to 2HKO, with some of the other members of Nightmare.
  • The clan bonus cancels an opposing card's bonus, which makes fights with him a lot easier.

Disadvantages:

  • His main weakness is SoA, since he is left with only 1 damage, which won't help you in the long run.
  • He is a 5*, so he takes up a lot of room in your deck.
  • He has competition from the other 5* in Nightmare.

Trivia

  • He is based off of heavy metal musician, Ozzy Osbourne. The Sabbath reference in his bio is a nod to the band Ozzy used to play with before starting his solo career, Black Sabbath.
  • His appearance is possibly based off of Brook the Singing Skeleton from the popular anime, One Piece.
  • His 4th level pose is similar to the 4th level pose of Dwan.
  • His appearance and bio could be a possible nod to the Darkstalkers character, Lord Raptor. However, unlike Ozzy, Lord Raptor actually killed himself and was then resurrected as a zombie by Ozomu. Just like Ozzy, Lord Raptor was also a heavy metal artist.
