"According to an article in Clint City Geographic, Ponpon Kat is an endangered feline species whose breed is endemic to the Saudi Desert. They've adapted to the local flora and fauna and the extreme temperatures found there. As they grow older, their bodies become covered with bony growths which they use for both attacking and defending themselves. However, the main use of this natural armor is during courtship, when they must impress the female by parading in front of her and proving she'll be protected from danger. Despite their very recognizable coat, it is still rare to come across them in the desert, so to think that the Raptors have actually managed to tame one is really quite something!"

• This is Sentry's first Raptors card.
• He is based off of the Machairodontinae, commonly known as the "saber-tooth-cats", (to which famous felines such as Smilodon belong) an extinct subfamily of carnivorous mammals who belong to the family of Felidae, known as the mammal group of cats.
• Clint City Geographic mentioned in the bio is a parody of National Geographic.
• He is one of the few non-human, non-dinosaur characters in the Raptors clan as well as the first mammal in the Raptors clan.
• His mission refers to his ability in Urban Rivals to reduce damage, marking the first time a mission directly referred to a card's ability.
  • It might also be a nod to his species's unique features and behavior of the male line to protect the female line from any harm.
