He was a vending-machine salesman and was good at his job. But he had committed the most serious of all crimes by bearing witness to the planned obsolescence of these machines. The Oculus had attempted to do away with him but it was his beloved motorbike that took the hit. Unfairly fired, he ended up roaming the Berzerk Motel area, near the last vending-machine he had managed to sell. A jobless renegade, pursuing his quest against lobbyists, soon under the influence of Xantiax...

- His mission is the term used for a person who has abandoned and/or betrayed an organization.
- This could be a reference to him witnessing the obsolescence of the Oculus machines and therefore, his betrayal of them.
- He is based off of Reno Raines, the main protagonist of the television series, Renegade, which is also the name of his mission.
- The drink and the vender-machine in his two in-game levels art are Red Dragon.
- It's confusing if he's either infected by the Xantiax gas or powered up by Red Dragon.
