Background

As a self-made man who heads up several companies by day, and is Godfather to the Jungo mafia by night, Sobek is a complex kind of alligator. To get where he is today, he started getting his hands dirty at a very early age, and now relies on his henchmen to get rid of anyone who might be a threat to his public persona. Since the departure of Ongh Cr, he's been in charge of the zoo both publicly and behind the scenes. And you're better off not turning down a contract with him, as all those who have, have ended up having very mysterious accidents...

Trivia

• His name is taken from the Egyptian god of the Nile. However, this Sobek is an alligator, while the one in Egyptian mythology was a crocodile.
• He also shares some similarities with both Sir Crocodile from the famous anime series, One Piece, and Wilson Fisk, also known as the Kingpin from the Marvel Comics. All three are the heads of their own organizations, they command several assassins and agents, they act business in public, but cruel in secret, and beside Kingpin, they represent reptiles.
• The golf clubs in his artwork, as well as him being an alligator, is a reference to the children's game, Gator Golf.
• He is responsible for Guru going MT.
  • He became the first clan leader to kill another clan leader.
• He is also responsible for Elea Cr's departure, as he turned the Jungo into a darker, Mafia-oriented clan and not the former friendly clan it used to be.
• He is the adopted father to fellow Jungo Zippy, making him the second clan leader to adopt someone with Kalindra Cr (who adopted Tiwi Ld and by extension Nannah), being the first.
• His CR announcement goes as: ""The arrival of Glibon changes the game: it seems that the Sakrohm were right all along, they pray to the ""good"" God, and their quest is legitimate. But is it really the case? First of all, who's to say that Glibon is the only creator God that exists? And then, according to Glibon himself, the Book of Everything and Nothing is full of mistakes and misinterpretations. Certainly, Glibon is very supportive of all creatures in his universe living together, but that doesn't necessarily mean he wants to receive prayers! And no, Eris, he never said that violence was an authorized means of conversion! And we also wish courage to Sobek, who recently lost his position as clan leader in a violent altercation with KinGreow. He takes advantage of the general turmoil and the arrival of Glibon to retreat strategically. But his network is too vast to be dismantled. The reptile's influence in Clint City remains intact, and while Sobek may no longer be in the spotlight, he continues to pull the strings from the shadows... Perhaps he will use his contacts to reappear one day?"
