Sunwuk0ng was one of the city zoo's youngest monkeys. But during a night-time escapade, he was knocked over by a drunk driver... Discovered by Wave Ld, lying on the ground between life and death, he was quickly taken to the planetarium where they managed to save his life. As he was still very young when his synthesization took place, the Hive took advantage of this opportunity to develop a technology that allowed artificial creatures to grow up just like any other living being. And ever since, Sunwuk0ng has devoted himself body and soul to the Hive and in particular to Wave LD!

- Both his name and artwork are based off of Sun Wukong, a legendary Chinese figure with the appearance of a monkey who also had supernatural powers.
- His mission suggests that he might be Wu Tong's cousin. Coincidentally, both are based on Sun Wukong.
- He is the first living being to become a member of the Hive without being turned into a full android.
- His design might be based off of the concept of cyborgs, who are part-machine and part-human.
- In his case, part-machine and part-monkey.
- The technology mentioned in his bio is similar to the clone technology used by the Kaminoans in Star Wars to create the Clone Army for the Republic.
