- His name is the same as the Marvel villain, The Maker a.k.a. Reed Richards from an alternate universe.
- His ability of attaching and reattaching things with his will could be based on several Mutant characters from the Marvel comics who are able to shape things or alter them.
- Such examples could be Forge or Mister M.
- The way his golem is carrying him in his hand is taken off the animated movie, The Iron Giant.
- He is the first Skeelz member to not have a formal name.
