"Having lost her parents at a young age, Zippy was taken in and raised by the Sobek mafia as if she were the daughter of one of their own. As she grew up, she realized she could make herself invisible by holding her breath and so capitalized on this ability to make herself useful. After all her hard work, she has now become the best spy in the organization, enabling her to rise through the ranks and pay back her debt to those who saved her all those years ago. - She is based off of Meleoron, a chameleon-like chimera ant from the world-famous manga series, Hunter x Hunter.
- The loss of her left arm in her first level is a reference to how reptiles can regrow limbs, as it regrows throughout her levels.
- Though the ghost-like appearance of her left arm, in her first level is a visual pun on Phantom Limb Syndrome, which is common with amputees.
